A service offered free to CLSD educators through the IU13, Discovery Streaming offers a variety of quality downloadable materials for the K-12 classroom. To access the site, go to http://streaming.discoveryeducation.com/index.cfm and enter your username and password. If you do not know your username and password, please contact techsupport@clsd.k12.pa.us and request the information.
Safari Montage
Coming in Fall of 2010, Safari montage offers a "video on demand" service for a wide variety of media resources for the K-12 classroom. Primary subjects covered in this package are Social Studies, Science, Language Arts, Math, Health, Foreign Language Instruction, Early Childhood Education, Art and Music. It will feature segments from programs such as A&E, Nat Geo, PBS, Bill Nye, and many more. More information coming soon on this resource!
